We stayed at Ivy’s Vine Resort on Carabao island for 11 nights.
We were looking for a beach resort in the Philippines that was secluded and peaceful - and we found it.
Immediately we felt at home with nightly walton style dinners together after a jammed day of frisbee, sunbathing card games and darts.
The staff (Trent, Ivy, Katherinte and Benny) were all very welcoming to us, and extremely helpful with arranging activities and travel.
We even got invited to a karaoke night - interesting side note, 'Eye of the Tiger' goes down extremely well with the Filipinios!
Also, check out Letty's Store and get yourself a box of ChocoMuchos, theyre only 60 pesos for ten bars! (dirt cheap!)
The resort offers diving trips, snorkeling, great food, internet access, darts, books, and can also arrange other things such as massages and pony rides.
You get a fantastic sunset view, I recommend sitting on the hamocks at sunset with a nice cool bottle of san miguel (which is offically "the only beer that nourishes true filippino friendship!)
